2025 KABA MCLE Program Proposal Submissions

KABA is now accepting proposals for MCLE programs for 2025! Organizing and speaking on an MCLE is a great opportunity for KABA members to showcase their legal expertise, thought leadership, and business development skills, all while providing a valuable service to the KABA legal community. All proposals must be for one hour of MCLE credit. For the proposals that are selected, KABA will serve as the MCLE credit provider, promote the program to the KABA membership, and provide logistical support.

To submit your proposal, please provide the following information and email it to kabasocalmcle@gmail.com. To be considered, you must complete every field. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Panel Title:
Topic (200 words max—please incorporate a brief list of teaching objectives in your description):
Type of Credit (General, Ethics, Bias, Etc.):
Main Contact/Panel Chair/Moderator:
Speakers (5 max, including moderator if any):
Speaker Biographies (250 words max per speaker):

The MCLE programs are subject to the following requirements:

  • Speakers must be qualified to speak on the MCLE topic and will be required to provide a high-resolution headshot.
  • Written materials must be submitted one week prior to the MCLE (examples include a written agenda of the MCLE topics, a list of legal authorities for topics discussed, or a Powerpoint presentation)
  • Topic must relate to legal subjects directly relevant to licensees of the State Bar.
  • Program must have current significant educational, professional, or practical content, with an objective to increase each participant’s professional competency as an attorney.
